Please read below regarding the water/sewer bills residents recently received from NJAW.
As you know, NJAW purchased the Township’s wastewater system in October of 2020. As detailed in the attached letter from NJAW, which was mailed to every household last year, all sewer billing will now come from NJAW – these monthly charges replace the yearly bill you received in prior years from the Township. The charges are calculated using the same rates as the Township used in 2018, and are based on actual water usage for the six (6) winter months preceding the billing year plus the service fee, just as they were when the Township owned the plant.
