Why not take a walk through Hicks' Tract and see how many rocks you can find?  Since the pandemic, several people have decorated rocks for you to find on your walks and admire.

On a personal note, please stay well as we all adjust to our "new normal".  You can still reach us in Recreation during our regular Town Hall hours, even though the building is currently closed to the public.  Rebel certainly does miss all of her visits from all of our kids.  She can't wait to see everyone again.
Make sure to keep checking our photos posted below.  Please keep letting us know how you are doing either by email, phone or on Instagram at longhillparksrec.

All meetings begin at 7:30pm unless otherwise posted.
All meetings will be held virtually until further notice.  All meetings are open to the public. Please email us at least 48 hours ahead of the meeting if you would like to attend virtually.
We're always looking for new members on the committee as well!

Do your New Year's Resolutions include exercising more?  Why not start a walking regimen at Kantor Park?  With the completion of the walkway around the grass field; if you do a "figure 8" around the park, you will have walked 1/2 mile.  Why don't you start a challenge for yourself?  Start off with a 1/2 mile, and then try to add laps as we travel through the winter!  Anyone with a success story--please be sure to share it with us!

"I'm on a Wait List for a program.  What does that mean?"
Some of our programs have a maximum # of participants that can be registered for any number of reasons such as physical space limitations, established ratios between our instructors and participants, equipment/material available, etc.
If you have added your name to a wait list (always at no charge), you will be contacted only if space becomes available.  If you are still interested in the program; your registration on the wait list will move over to the intended program, and you will be asked to go in and apply payment to secure your spot in the program. If you are no longer interested, we will just remove your name from the wait list and continue on down the list.
Want to get email reminders about upcoming events in Recreation?  Make sure to sign up for Recreation "e-News" on the front page of the township website--blue envelope icon on right.
