Valley Road Paving Project set to begin on / or about Monday, September 11, 2017.

 

The entire 4.3 mile length of Valley Road in Long Hill Township will be milled and paved.

Preliminary road work prior to the paving will take place from Monday, September 11 through Friday, September 22. During this time the road will remain open with no anticipated detours.  Expect delays during this time as police officers may need to alternate traffic in different areas of the town.

The milling of Valley Road (removal of old pavement) is expected to take place during the week of September 25th through the 29th.  During this time, various detours will be in place depending on the location of the work being performed.  School buses and residents within the detoured area will be allowed to access this area with police assistance.

The final paving portion of this project is expected to take place during the week of October 2nd through the 6th.    During this time, various detours will be in place depending on the location of the work being performed.  School buses and residents within the detoured area will be allowed to access this area with police assistance.

The hours of the project will be 7:00 am until 4:00 pm daily, Monday - Friday.
