The Senior Citizens Club of Long Hill Township has been active since 1971.  We have over 250 members. The Senior Citizen's Club is independent of the Township, and elects its own Executive Committee.  Executive Committee members serve 2 year terms.

DUE TO THE COVID-19 THE SENIOR CENTER AND ITS ACTIVITIES ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED.  THE OFFICE WILL BE OPEN PERIODICALLY.  PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE IF YOU NEED TO VISIT. 908-626-1101. Re-opening will be announced on LHTV.

Office Hours are typically: Mondays 10-1/ Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10-3.  The Office is closed on Thursdays.  PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE, THE HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CLOSINGS PLEASE LOOK TO LHTV.

Meetings: 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 10:30 AM Senior Center

Membership dues are $20.00 per year. (Pick up Newsletter or have emailed).  $27 if you want the monthly newsletter mailed.  Membership is open to anyone 55 years of age and older, who resides or is a property owner in Long Hill Township.  MEMBERS are needed.

The Senior Center is opened and available to the public for functions.  It has 5700 square feet, and does include a kitchen and meeting facilities to accommodate 313 people in auditorium seating or 146 people seated at tables.  The fee for the hall is $450 for 5 hours (this does include your set up and clean up time).   For further questions OR TO Rent PLEASE CONTACT NANCY AT  LHSENIORS@COMCAST.NET  or call the Senior Center office at 908-626-1101.

The Center was built with money raised by the members, private donations, and grants from the Long Hill Township, Morris County and private foundations.

Morris County coordinates a Senior Nutrition Program twice a week at our Senior Center.  They serve lunch on Mondays and Fridays at 11:30 AM.  A $2.00 Donation is appreciated.

The Members usually hold an annual Rummage Sale the second weekend in October!  LOOK FOR FURTHER NOTICE FOR THIS YEARS RUMMAGE SALE

Bus Trips
We travel to Atlantic City, Resorts Mt. Airy, over night trips and other places for gatherings, lunches, dinners and shows.  The bus will usually leave and return from the Senior Center. Call for information, reservations and prices 908-626-1101.  Also Tune in to LHTV for more or additional information.
Other Activities
Includes book club, cards and games, arts and crafts, painting classes, exercise programs, computer classes, picnics, luncheons and parties.  For Members only.

Senior Bus Schedule  Beginning Pick Ups Leaves Senior Center
Monday (Nutrition) 9:20am 12:30pm
Thursday (Shoprite) 9:30am 1 hour after drop off
You will have 1 hour to shop,  passengers must carry their own bags on & off the bus.
(Summer hours: during July and August bus will pick up starting 9am)
Friday  (Nutrition) 9:20am 12:30pm

Out of town shopping on the last Wednesday of the month  -  will stop at  Watchung Square Mall 1 hour (Walmart) and Dollar Store  20 min (Blue Star) with ½
